The new bellhousing integrates the engine bolt pattern directly so no need for an intermediate adapter. The conceptual idea is that you simply cut off your current 8HP bellhousing and replace it with the new billet bellhousing. There are several benefits using this technique, you can use a cheap transmission which normally comes with a big physical bellhousing and switch it to an engine adapted size. The overall length of the transmission usually gets shorter than with an ordinary adapter kit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFirst out in the \u003cstrong\u003eUltim8HP\u003c\/strong\u003e series is the Toyota 1JZ\/2JZ adaption. This product line is aimed for those where space is an extremely limited factor and where modifying the transmission tunnel is not an option.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003eUltim8HP\u003c\/strong\u003e bellhousing has cross-functional features for gen 1, 2 and 3 8HP Transmission. Its currently supporting both BMW and Dodge transmission with flat mounting surfaced converters. BMW 8HP70\/75 with curved converter (N63 N74) is currently not supported, Dodge RAM Ecodiesel is not supported at the moment.
