On Non VVTi engines you will need to also use the straight 1JZ VVTi PCV hose # 12261-88401.  The original non VVTi valve & hose are discontinued however using both VVTi parts together works on non Non VVTi engines. 

This is a maintenance item that is often neglected.  The PCV valve is responsible for applying vacuum to your crank case.  It helps keep oil consumption down under high vacuum - where the oil tends to be drawn into the combustion chamber.  It's also an emissions device, that prevents the oil / fuel / combustion vapor from getting into the atmosphere. 

Replace your PCV valve at the same time as your spark plugs to keep it running at peak efficiency.
