Overview

The Nexus IO16 is a Haltech CAN device that expands the functionality of a Haltech Nexus or Elite ECU by adding 16 user-configurable input and output channels, accessible through the Haltech CAN system.

INPUTS

• 6 x Analogue Voltage Inputs (AVI): 0-5V readable range with selectable 1k pull-up resistor to 5V
• 4 x Synchronised Pulsed Inputs (SPI): Reluctor/Digital, 0-5V readable range with selectable 1k pull-up resistor to 5V

OUTPUTS

• 6 x Half Bridge Outputs (HBO): 8A current (sink/source), capable of 0-100% duty cycle, 2.2kHz switching speed. NOT suitable for DBW throttle application

WARNING – When using HBOs, ensure the Nexus IO16 is powered using the constant power pins and power ground pins.

OTHERS

• 3 x 5V output (sensor power)
• 4 x Sensor ground

Note: Any 5V and sensor ground pins can be paired when wiring sensors.
