Link G5 GT86 Plug-In ECU (Toyota GT86 / Subaru BRZ, RHD) - 241-4000

The TGT86 is Link's plug-in ECU for right-hand-drive Toyota 86, Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S. It fits the factory ECU location using the original mounts, loom and connectors with no adapter looms or rewiring, keeps the factory functions and includes a startup map. Drive-by-wire (e-throttle) control is built in and both manual and automatic transmissions are supported.

It controls the FA20's direct and port injection and offers dual CAN, flex fuel, VVT, open/closed-loop boost, dual closed-loop lambda and direct automatic transmission control, plus motorsport functions including nitrous, launch, anti-lag, traction and cruise control, gear and paddle shift control and race timer/power management.

Suits: Right-hand-drive Toyota 86 / GT86 ZN6 (4U-GSE/FA20, 2012-2021), Subaru BRZ ZC6 (2012-2020) and Scion FR-S (2012-2016).

Includes: TGT86 plug-in ECU, USB-C connection cable, locking USB-C extension cable, 2 x M6 screws, DTM4 CAN connection cable (pre-installed in enclosure), Link stickers, plug-in manual card, product registration card.

Notes

  • Right-hand-drive vehicles only; LHD and RHD mounting differs. Left-hand-drive cars need 241-4200.
  • Check that your connector matches the header shown in the photos before ordering.
  • 2017+ cars will not run on the PCLink sample maps or standard plug-in hardware without changes: the crank sensor is Hall effect (set Trigger 1 Type to Optical/Hall with Trigger 1 pull-up ON), and the 4-pin DI fuel pressure sensor needs an 8.2 kohm pull-up resistor between C7 (An Volt 4) and 5 V, the DI fuel pressure source moved from An Volt 3 to An Volt 4, and calibration set to 0 kPa at 4.06 V and 30000 kPa at 0.46 V.
  • Link recommends installation and setup by an official Link dealer.
