Details
The Link Knock Sensor is a non-resonant piezoelectric knock sensor designed to detect engine knock (detonation) by monitoring engine block vibrations. When used with a compatible Link ECU, it transmits these vibrations as an electrical signal, allowing the ECU to detect knock and adjust the engine calibration to help protect the engine while optimising performance.
Models Supported
Link ECUs with knock detection capability. Other aftermarket ECUs with compatible knock sensor inputs.
Warnings
Install directly onto a suitable flat surface on the engine block. Recommended tightening torque: 20 +/- 5 Nm. Correct mounting torque is critical for accurate knock detection. One or more sensors may be required depending on the engine and application.
