Radium Engineering 20-0843 master cylinder brace for the 1989-1997 Mazda MX-5 with ABS, left-hand drive.
- Mounts on the strut tower to stop firewall flex so more pedal force goes into brake line pressure
- Radium dial-indicator testing showed about 90% less master cylinder deflection than the stock setup
- Solid one-piece design, machined from high-strength steel, powder coated
- Compatible with the OEM strut tower bar, if equipped
- Adjustment screw with a large-diameter aluminum head to protect the master cylinder housing
- Stainless steel jam nuts hold the preload setting
- Secured with M8 hardware torqued to 30 lb-ft (40 Nm)
- Requires no cutting, drilling or vehicle modification
- With the OEM air box, the brace slightly interferes with the outer-rear bolt boss and trimming may be required
Included
- Black powder-coated brace
- Aluminum preload adjustment bolt
- Stainless steel jam nuts
- Stainless steel shims
- Longer M8x1.25mm studs
