Radium Engineering 20-1441 multi-pump fuel surge tank (MPFST) for Bosch BR540 or Deatschwerks DW400 pumps. Pumps are not included.
- Prevents fuel starvation on vehicles with inadequate fuel tank baffling
- The lift pump (usually the OEM in-tank pump) fills the surge tank, which buffers fuel for the surge tank pumps
- Excess fuel returns to the main tank, so the stock tank does not need to be opened for upgrades
- Multiple high-flow pumps can be installed. Outlets merge into one outlet, and staging is possible with pumps that have check valves
- Fits Deatschwerks DW400 or Bosch BR540 pumps. Up to 3 Bosch BR540 (DW400) pumps can be installed. Three pumps cannot be used with the optional fuel level switch because of pump size
- Swirl-pot design with tangential fuel entry to reduce air bubbles and foam
- Three independent filtration chambers that fuel cannot pass between
- Anodized aluminum pump bracket and anti-rotation, high-current electrical studs
- Wiring is gasoline, ethanol and methanol compliant
- Pump outlet is 10AN ORB, preinstalled with an 8AN male adapter
- Supply, return and overflow ports are 8AN ORB, preinstalled with 6AN male adapters
- Optional fuel level switch (sold separately) with a diagnostic indicator
Included
- Installation parts for the surge tank, except the pumps
- Stainless steel mesh pre-pump inlet screen
- Ring terminals and hardware for the power studs
- Preinstalled fittings
- 2AN ORB plug in the level switch port
