Radium Engineering 20-1442 multi-pump fuel surge tank (MPFST) set up for Walbro F90000267, F90000274 and F90000285 fuel pumps. Universal fitment. Pumps are not included.
- Prevents fuel starvation in vehicles with inadequate tank baffling. A lift pump, usually the OEM in-tank pump, fills the surge tank, and the fuel inside buffers the surge pumps during brief lift pump starvation
- Holds 1, 2 or 3 pumps
- Fuel enters through the supply and return ports and swirls through the canister, which helps remove air bubbles and fuel foam
- Pump outlets merge into a single outlet
- Three independent pre-pump filtration chambers that fuel cannot pass between
- Compatible pumps have check valves, so staging is permitted (except pumps without an internal check valve, such as the Walbro F90000295)
- Anti-rotation, high-current electrical studs
- Internal wiring rated for gasoline, ethanol and methanol
- Pump outlet: 10AN ORB, preinstalled with an 8AN male adapter
- Supply, return and overflow: 8AN ORB, each preinstalled with a 6AN male adapter
- Level switch port: 2AN ORB plug, accepts a 1/8 in NPT level switch. Optional fuel level switch (20-0461) and diagnostic indicator (20-0519) are sold separately
- All fittings can be swapped for other sizes (sold separately)
- Anodized aluminum pump bracket and stainless steel mesh inlet screen
- Brushless pumps (Protec 11928, Fuelab 49614, Deatschwerks DW810) need the Triple Pump Base 13-1187, sold separately, and do not fit the included strainer
Included
- All parts needed to install the pumps in the surge tank, except the pumps themselves
- Ring terminals and hardware for the electrical studs
- Stainless steel mesh pre-pump inlet screen
Fitment
- Universal surge tank. Accepts Walbro F90000267, F90000274 and F90000285 pumps (pumps sold separately). (Source: Radium Engineering)
