Radium Engineering 20-1446 regulated multi-pump fuel surge tank (MPFST-R) for Bosch BR540 or DeatschWerks DW400 pumps. Pumps are not included.
- Prevents fuel starvation on vehicles with inadequate fuel tank baffling
- Accepts 1, 2 or 3 fuel pumps
- Returnless design: the built-in regulator returns low-pressure fuel into the surge tank, so no external fuel pressure regulator return line is needed
- Tool-less regulator adjustment by knob, with detents of about 1 psi each
- 360-degree swiveling vacuum reference port, 1:1 vacuum reference capable, with four interchangeable 10-32 vacuum fittings and a screw plug for constant pressure
- Pump outlet: 10AN ORB female with an 8AN male adapter preinstalled
- Overflow and supply ports: 8AN ORB female with 6AN male adapters preinstalled
- 1/8 in NPT fuel pressure port, plugged by default
- The Bosch BR540 has no check valve, so use it only as the primary pump in a staged installation
- The size of these pumps interferes with the optional level switch in one mounting position, so only 2 pumps fit with the level switch installed
- Cars without a fuel tank return port need one created
Included
- Surge tank with built-in regulator
- Ring terminals and hardware to install the pumps (pumps not included)
